I know, I know.... it’s not exactly beach weather here in Northern Kentucky. But it sure was last week in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and I took full advantage of the sun and sand! It was a wonderful way to celebrate my 60th birthday; lounging on the beach, frozen margarita in hand. I swore I'd be on an island somewhere for my 60th, but with business picking up like it has lately, I just didn't have the time to even plan such a trip! Not that I'm complaining! Business tends to pick up once spring is on the horizon, and I've been looking forward to the hustle and bustle. Besides, whether it be surrounded on all sides by ocean or not, I've never met a beach I didn't like!
It was a nice change of pace to wake up with nowhere to be. To have no definite plans for the day. To decide spur of the moment where to go (if anywhere) and what to do (if anything). While I did stay connected to my current clients by email and text, for the most part I was able to unwind and enjoy some time off after such a busy February!
I was among the top six listing leaders for the month of February, and I have high hopes for March. I’ve been a part of much of the activity taking place in Florence’s Villas of South Fork. I took on a For Sale By Owner that had been on the market for months and was able to get it sold in ONE DAY! I have another pending after only nine days, and yet another getting ready to hit the market very soon! I absolutely love working in and for that community, and have formed great relationships with association members and residents alike. So, if you’re reading this and you know of anyone looking for a great condo community with an active HOA, there’s always a good chance I have something waiting in the wings!
Though we’ve taken some steps backward weather-wise, spring is coming! And with warmer temperatures, I expect more people will be ready to sell and ready to buy. Let me know if you’re among them! Oh, and don’t forget to spring ahead one hour this weekend!
